Superb copy printed on Van Gelder Holland paper (no. 102), third paper printed in 127 copies after 45 on Imperial Japan paper and 15 on China paper.
Our copy is enriched with a superb autograph dedication dated February 11, 1940 for Clovis Piérard (1896-1974), Belgian politician who was senator between 1946 and 1947 as well as journalist director of La Province de Mons. This one was made by the Hainaut-Namur section of the General Association of the Belgian Press and is signed by 7 members. Poignant testimony of a book on the first war at the dawn of the occupation of Belgium in May 1940.
The book contains 4 pages mounted on tabs with the original article from Le Figaro dated November 29, 1916, written by Régis Gignoux, announcing the death of the author.
